Just a quick update on hows things are going, the animating is going really well but slower than i wanted, Ive got the hardest part over with, i had to learn how to walk again to be honest and getting my character to sit down was time consuming but im happy with how its turned out. ill post up what ive got shortly, but for now ive just got to carry on how im going now.
Animation is always slow, Dave - a 'simple' thing (i.e. sitting down) that disguises a complex job; I guess this is why Mark Davis said that if a talented character animator walks into Nexus, they get jobs - because talented animators are a rare breed. I think you ARE that rare breed, Dave... Keep at it - I know that your art direction has been inspirational for some of the first year - again, you're making a difficult thing (style) look easy and commonplace - but it's not. Good luck!
